Cennox, the UK’s largest independent ATM business, has selected Element Communications, the experts in authentic communications for ambitious brands, to launch a pioneering new product to the retail market.
As global leaders in transforming bank branches and in-store retail environments, Cennox has developed its POS UVC device to neutralise COVID-19 at in-store payment terminals after each transaction.
The Element team will be delivering media relations, social media campaigns and content marketing as part of an integrated strategy.

The innovative system uses Ultraviolet C (UVC) light to attack and neutralise surface clinging viruses present on Chip & PIN devices in less than 30 seconds. It is expected to replace bleach and alcohol wipes to clean payment terminals, which can take as much as ten minutes to become effective.
As retailers adapt to the ‘new normal’ Cennox’s device is intended to keep shoppers safe, with limited impact on the in-store experience.
